As the temperature gradually drops, boom maintenance is one of the must-do maintenance before winter. The most important thing about a spider crane is the boom. If the boom is not properly maintained, hoisting accidents may easily occur. Today KB crane will introduce several key points of boom maintenance.
1. Check whether the wire rope has broken strands or knots. If so, it should be dealt with in time to avoid accidents during the hoisting process.
2. When checking that the hydraulic oil storage capacity is reduced, it should be replenished in time.
3. Grease (butter), butter with different viscosities needs to be used in winter and summer, and apply it to the boom slider, arm tube, etc.;
4. Check the bearings and lubricating oil of the boom.
